Delayed SkyGreece flight finally departs

A SkyGreece flight out of Toronto Pearson International Airport was delayed four days this week, due to the late delivery of replacement parts for the aircraft.

The Toronto flight, bound for Zagreb and Athens, was originally to depart YYZ on Aug. 17, finally leaving at 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 20 after being re-scheduled several times.

According to SkyGreece, delivery of the parts required to repair the aircraft was delayed 48 hours, pushing back the flight’s departure.

A statement posted on SkyGreece’s website on Aug. 17 indicated that all flights scheduled to depart between Aug. 17 and Aug. 20 would be delayed 24 hours due to “operational considerations.”
