CTA approves Porter for Barbados, Aruba & Dominican Republic routes
(Porter Airlines)

The Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA) has granted Porter Airlines licences to operate scheduled flights to Barbados, Aruba and the Dominican Republic.

In decisions published March 26, the federal regulator confirmed the airline meets all requirements to run regular international service to the three Caribbean destinations.

The approvals fall under existing air transport agreements between Canada and each country.

Porter is now authorized to operate scheduled service using larger aircraft, should it choose to move forward with the routes.

No launch dates or flight schedules were included in the decisions.
