Countdown to take-off for CanJet

Today, Nov. 18, marks the one-month mark until CanJet Vacations' first departure from Toronto Pearson Airport.
According to John Kirk, vice-president, sales and marketing, the company is seeing strong support from distribution partners and deals continue to be established with agencies. He noted that among the CanJet differences is its commission structure, which is applied to the fuel surcharge and currency surcharge portion of the price.
The tour operator is currently offering four- and five-star properties throughout Mexico, Cuba, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic.
Clients can choose a CanJet select upgrade which offers priority check-in, complimentary seat selection, priority baggage handling, and additional baggage allowance of up to 10 kg per segment. CanJet Select guests also receive a comfort kit southbound, and complimentary wine and alcoholic beverages during bar service.
The product is available in SIREV, Sabre Vacations and Galileo.
Kirk was featured in this month's issue of PAX magazine, where he discusses the vision of the new tour operator. Click here to see the digital edition.
