Contiki launches #TravelGoals campaign
Contiki is encouraging agents to assist millennials in making 2016 the year to live out their travel goals and explore the world.
Contiki’s eight-week #Travelgoals campaign, which started Jan. 18, 2016, runs for eight weeks and features a unique destination each week alongside limited-time savings.
“The new year shouldn't be about making a lifelong bucket list. It’s about getting those travel goals ticked off,” Lauren McPhillips, Contiki's creative, brand and marketing manager said.
The campaign, which begins by spotlighting Germany, aims to inspire millennials to see the world.
“The thing we see with millennials is that they’re dreamers,” Contiki Canada President Brad Ford said. “They’re about inspiration and the feeling of right now. If they do have the cash, they’re very quick to jump on travel decisions.”
Future travellers can win weekly prize packs by uploading a picture that best represents their ultimate #travelgoals on Twitter or Instagram by tagging #travelgoals and @ContikiCanada (Twitter) and @Contiki (Instagram). Week one will offer a Lonely Planet guidebook, a FitBit, a Hitcase and travel journal.
Agents are also eligible to win by selling Contiki. For every passenger sold, the agent’s name will be entered into a weekly draw to win a Contiki backpack filled with everything they need to travel in style, including a Contiki beach towel, $50 Contiki merchandise store voucher, glass water/tea bottle, travel wallet, notepad and a $150 VISA Gift Card.
