Condor launches non-stop Frankfurt flights from Edmonton
Condor Airlines launched a new non-stop Frankfurt route on May 26 from Edmonton International Airport (YEG), which will operate twice-weekly (Tuesday and Friday).
On Tuesdays, Flight #DE2469 will depart Edmonton International Airport at 5:50 p.m. and arrives in Frankfurt (FRA) at 11:15 a.m. (+1 day).
On Fridays, Flight #DE2469 departs Edmonton International Airport at 2:35 p.m. and arrives in Frankfurt (FRA) at 8:00 a.m. (+1 day).
On Tuesday, return flight #DE2468 departs Frankfurt (FRA) at 2:05 p.m. and arrives in Edmonton (YEG) at 3:50 p.m. On Friday, #DE2468 departs Frankfurt (FRA) at 11:05 a.m. and arrives in Edmonton at 12:45 p.m.
All flights to and from Edmonton are operated on Boeing 767-300 aircraft this summer and feature three classes of service (Economy, Premium and Business).
This is Condor's fifth gateway in Canada, joining Toronto, Vancouver, Halifax, and Whitehorse.
"We are excited that Edmonton is our newest Canadian gateway and the latest addition to Condor's growing North American route system," stated Mikko Turtiainen, director of sales, The Americas. "It has been a true pleasure to partner with Edmonton International Airport to bring Condor's service to Alberta. In the past, travellers from this region of Canada would have to make multiple connections to get to their final European destination and often spend more doing so.”
“We are pleased to introduce an affordable and convenient alternative. As Germany's number one leisure airline, Condor is also looking forward to introducing German vacationers to this most spectacular province of Canada."
