Cabin upgrades coming to AC rouge fleet

Air Canada rouge will introduce a number of upgrades to its fleet this summer, increasing space and offering additional features to passengers.

The premium cabin in the fleet’s Airbus A319 aircraft will be converted by mid-June to two side-by-side Business Class seats in a 2x2 configuration, providing more space and featuring a 110-volt power plug, a high-powered USB port and coat hook for each seat, along with a centre console and pop-out cocktail tray between the two seats.

Carry-on space will also be increased by 30 per cent throughout rouge’s Airbus A319 fleet with the installation of new overhead bin doors, which allow carry-on items to be stowed more efficiently. The installation takes place this summer.

Passengers on rouge’s Airbus A319 and Boeing 767 aircraft will also enjoy enhancements to player, the carrier’s streaming in-flight entertainment system.
