AMResorts unveils 3 new properties

AMResorts has completed three new resorts deals in the Caribbean, the company has announced, marking 12 new resort management deals so far this year – more than double the amount signed in 2014.

With the opening of Breathless Montego Bay Resort & Spa, the company will debut its adults-only Breathless Resorts & Spas brand in Jamaica. In Mexico’s Riviera Maya region, AMResorts will increase its presence to 14 resorts upon the opening of Breathless Playa del Carmen Resort & Spa and Dreams Villas Playa del Carmen. 

Breathless Montego Bay Resort & Spa, scheduled to open in late 2016, will feature 150 rooms and suites. The resort, located within a 15-minute drive of Sangster International Airport, will be situated next to sister properties Secrets St. James Montego Bay and Secrets Wild Orchid Montego Bay, as well as Sunscape Montego Bay, which will officially rebrand as a Sunscape Resorts & Spas property on Dec. 23, 2015. 

Slated to open in 2017, Breathless Playa del Carmen Resort & Spa will feature 500 rooms, while Dreams Villas Playa del Carmen will offer 150 luxury villas and 50 junior suites. The resorts will sit adjacent to each other in the Grand Coral gated community development.

Guests of the resorts will have access to Grand Coral’s amenities, including an 18-hole golf course, its clubhouse and beach club, and the gourmet dining, shopping and nightlife found nearby on the Quinta Avenida. The resorts are located within close proximity to several attractions, including Xcaret Ecological Park, the Playa del Carmen Center, Tulum ruins, and more.

Designed for singles, couples and friends, Breathless Resorts & Spas will have five resorts located in Mexico and the Caribbean upon the opening of Breathless Playa del Carmen Resort & Spa.
