Air Transat launches route between Montreal & Agadir, Morocco
Air Transat inaugurated its new non-stop route between Montreal and Agadir with the first flight TS492, operated on Friday (June 12).
The Moroccan destination becomes the airline’s second served from Montreal, following Marrakech.
The seasonal service will be offered once a week, on Fridays, until October 23, 2026.
With this new route, Air Transat becomes the only airline to offer a non-stop flight to Agadir from North America.
“The launch of this route to Agadir reflects our ambition to strengthen exclusive access to Morocco and expand our presence across the African continent,” said Sébastien Ponce, chief revenue officer at Transat, in a press release. “It responds to strong and growing demand while supporting both tourism development and closer ties between communities in Canada and Morocco.”
Flights are operated using the Airbus A321LR, a modern aircraft, with both Economy Class and Club Class, that’s recognized for its efficiency and comfort.
