'Vacation is Calling' again with Air Transat

Air Transat has launched its latest advertising campaign, building on the concept introduced last year with the signature “Vacation is Calling/ Ça sent les vacances,” and developed in partnership with the Sid Lee agency.

The campaign includes activations on the Web and social media, as well as on TV, radio, on out-of-home display advertising and in print media.

“Through this new campaign developed with Sid Lee, Air Transat is more than ever living up to its brand promise, which is to brighten the everyday with the joy of vacations,” says Geneviève LeBrun, vice president, marketing, Transat Tours Canada. “This passion for travel and tourism is part of Transat employees’ DNA, and finds expression every day in a multitude of ways—and that’s why we wanted to highlight it in the campaign,” she adds.

The video content of the campaign drifts from real-world to fantasy imagery, illustrating Air Transat flight attendants’ discoveries and favourite spots in the airline’s Sun destinations.

Vacationing down south with Transat means a selection of all-inclusive packages at 36 different destinations in Florida, Mexico, the Caribbean as well as Central and South America, and a choice of some 650 hotels, more than 45 of them exclusive to the tour operator. To make travellers’ life easier, Transat also offers five collections, each featuring a range of hotels to suit their specific needs: Luxury, Distinction, Solo, Family, and Sun Savvy.
