Air Canada, Porter & WestJet to increase winter service to Nassau from multiple Canadian cities

Non-stop air service from Canada to Nassau, Bahamas, is set to expand this winter, with both Air Canada and WestJet increasing frequencies and launching new routes.

Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS), located approximately 10 miles from downtown Nassau, currently offers direct service from 43 destinations across the U.S., Canada, Europe and South America. 

It is also the only international airport to feature TSA PreCheck.

For winter 2025–2026, Canadian travellers will see the following schedule increases:

Air Canada

• Toronto: Daily year-round service, increasing to 12 flights per week in October

• Montreal: Currently one flight per week in summer, increasing to four flights per week in December

• Ottawa: New non-stop service launching in December, operating once weekly on Fridays

• Halifax: New non-stop service launching in December, operating once weekly on Fridays

WestJet

• Toronto: Four flights per week in summer, increasing to daily service in December

• Calgary: New non-stop service launching in December, operating once weekly

Porter

• Toronto: Seven flights per week launching in November

• Ottawa: One flight per week starting in December

• Hamilton: Two flights per week beginning in December

The new and expanded routes are scheduled to begin in time for the winter travel season, offering more connectivity between key Canadian cities and the Bahamas.
