After six years, Toronto will have a direct link with Prague as Air Canada plans to operate flights between the two cities in summer 2025, sources have confirmed.

The news was announced Monday (August 26) by Prague Airport on the X social network. The Air Canada flight, which is on sale now, will be seasonal from June 6 to the end of September next year, the airport says.

Flights will run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays aboard a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. It will fly from Toronto at 20:25, and land in Prague at 10:45.

Posting to her LinkedIn page on Monday, Michaela Claudino, director at CzechTourism, called the route “exciting news!”

“The flights will operate three times a week, providing a fantastic opportunity to strengthen the ties between Canada and the Czech Republic,” Claudino wrote. We can't wait to welcome more Canadians to experience the beauty of Prague.”

“A huge thank you to Prague Airport for continuously working to attract new airlines and to Air Canada for coming back!”
