Air Canada delays Toronto–Martinique service until December

Air Canada has revised its plans for seasonal service between Toronto Pearson airport (YYZ) and Fort-de-France, Martinique (FDF), for the upcoming winter season.

According to a schedule reported reported by Aeroroutes, the carrier will now launch its Toronto–Fort-de-France route on Dec. 17, 2026, operating once weekly.

Frequency will increase to twice weekly beginning Jan. 7, 2027.

The flights will also be operated by Air Canada Rouge using Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.

The change represents a later start than Air Canada had previously planned.

Air Canada had earlier scheduled weekly Toronto–Fort-de-France service beginning Oct. 25, 2026, with flights increasing to twice weekly from Dec. 17.
