Air Canada adds Vancouver-Brisbane service for 2016

Air Canada will offer non-stop flights from Vancouver to Brisbane, Australia beginning June 17, 2016.

According to the carrier, flights to Brisbane will initially operate three times weekly using Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners, with the intention to increase to daily service, subject to obtaining the necessary government approvals. The service is Air Canada’s third new Pacific route announced in the past year, in addition to Toronto-Tokyo Haneda and Vancouver-Osaka.

Flights will depart YVR Wednesday, Friday and Sunday while flights from Brisbane will depart Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
