Air Canada rouge is expanding in Eastern Canada by operating twice-daily seasonal non-stop service between Toronto and Charlottetown, beginning May 2, 2016.
The flights, which will be offered between May 2 and Oct. 23, will be operated with 136-seat Airbus A319 aircraft featuring premium and economy cabins, representing a 35 per cent increase in seats for the route over last summer. For winter 2016/17, service will return to three daily Air Canada Express flights with the 50-seat Bombardier CRJ jet aircraft operated by Air Georgian.
The new rouge flight is part of Air Canada’s summer service to Charlottetown, which will see up to 69 scheduled non-stop weekly flights between four destinations across Canada.
