Air Canada extends Israel, Dubai flight suspensions to March 22
Air Canada has extended its suspension of flights to Israel and Dubai, pushing its planned restart date to March 23, 2026.
The update was shared on X, where the carrier said that due to the military situation in the Middle East, all flights to and from Tel Aviv (TLV) and Dubai (DXB) will remain suspended through March 22.
As previously reported by PAX, Air Canada had cancelled flights to Tel Aviv until March 8 and to Dubai until March 3.
The new advisory extends those suspensions by several weeks.
Service is scheduled to resume March 23, subject to conditions.
In its online advisory, the airline said it is actively monitoring the situation and will adjust its schedule if required.
Rebooking and refund options
According to Air Canada’s rebooking policy for the Middle East situation, passengers whose flights are cancelled can retrieve their booking online to change their flight free of charge.
Air Canada said affected customers will also be contacted directly with available options.
Travellers whose flights are not cancelled but who wish to change their plans may make voluntary changes without penalty if they:
- Purchased an Air Canada ticket on or before Feb. 28, 2026
- Are travelling to, from or through Abu Dhabi (AUH), Amman (AMM), Beirut (BEY), Dammam (DMM), Dubai (DXB), Erbil (EBL) or Tel Aviv (TLV)
- Are scheduled to travel between now and March 15, 2026
Eligible customers may rebook to another date up to March 31, 2026, subject to availability in the originally purchased cabin. Fare differences may apply outside that window.
Customers who choose to cancel are eligible for a full refund.
Air Canada Vacations customers are being directed to contact ACV directly.
The airline said it will continue to monitor government travel advisories and update customers as the situation evolves.
