TTAND advisors join Portugal FAM with 5Continents

A group of travel advisors from The Travel Agent Next Door (TTAND) took part in a Portugal FAM trip with 5Continents from Feb. 21-28.

Jennipher Santa Cruz and David Boigne led the trip, which introduced advisors to a range of destinations and experiences across the country.

The itinerary included stops in Porto, Coimbra, Lisbon and the Algarve.

Along the way, advisors explored Porto’s historic centre and wine scene, visited the University of Coimbra, and toured Lisbon landmarks such as Jerónimos Monastery and Belém Tower.

Advisors stayed in high-end hotels and took part in guided tours, food tastings and a traditional Fado music experience.

According to 5Continents, the trip was designed to give advisors a better understanding of the kinds of tailor-made Portugal itineraries they can build for clients.

5Continents is a Canadian tour operator focused on custom travel and works exclusively with travel advisors.
