TRAVELSAVERS Elite Retreat unpacks Greece & Turkey with Explora

Authentic travel is on the rise, and top TRAVELSAVERS Canada agencies experienced it firsthand on their recent Elite Retreat, cruising from Istanbul to Athens on Explora Journeys, from Aug. 23–29, to celebrate their sales success.

A TRAVELSAVERS Canada survey identified authentic travel, luxury travel, and ocean cruising as key trends for 2025, with travellers seeking more meaningful, immersive experiences.

On EXPLORA I, advisors explored everything from lively cities to tranquil islands.

Highlights included Syros’ scenic villages, Paros’ ancient ruins and water sports, Bodrum’s historic Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, and Athens’ archaeological sites and modern markets.

In Rhodes, they toured iconic landmarks with South Aegean governor Georgios Chatzimarkos and enjoyed lunch in the UNESCO-listed Medieval Town.

The trip also featured networking through 1:1 meetings, breakout sessions, tours, private performances, and evening dining events.
