Travel Leaders launches new Canada conference for travel advisors
Travel Leaders Network is introducing a new national event for its Canadian members with the launch of ELEVATE Canada, a dedicated two-day conference designed exclusively for Canadian travel advisors and preferred supplier partners.
The inaugural conference will be held in two cities this fall, beginning at the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown on Oct. 20-21, followed by the Pearson Convention Centre in Toronto on Oct. 28-29.
The new event, which was originally called "Ignite," replaces the network's previous regional format with an expanded two-day program, offering additional education, networking and business development opportunities tailored specifically to the Canadian market.
It also comes amid the turbulence surrounding U.S. President Donald Trump's ongoing tariff policies, his repeated "51st state" rhetoric and currency exchange issues – a situation that has contributed to fewer Canadian advisors attending Travel Leaders' annual EDGE conference in Las Vegas.
What to expect
According to Travel Leaders Network, the conference agenda will focus on Canadian-specific content, industry discussions, educational workshops, supplier engagement and networking events designed to help advisors strengthen their businesses ahead of the busy winter travel season.
The program will include general sessions led by industry leaders, Travel Leaders Network workshops, preferred partner education sessions, structured roundtable discussions, a trade show and hosted networking events.

“Canadian travel advisors continue to demonstrate tremendous professionalism, resilience and entrepreneurial spirit,” said Lindsay Pearlman, president of Travel Leaders Network, in a press release.
“With ELEVATE Canada we’re creating a conference experience designed specifically for their needs – one that delivers practical business insights, stronger supplier partner relationships and valuable opportunities to collaborate with peers from across the country. By expanding to a two-day format, we’re giving our members more time to learn, connect and position themselves for continued success in a rapidly evolving travel landscape.”
Christine James, CTM, vice president, Canada at Travel Leaders Network, said the conference was created to recognize the unique needs of Canadian advisors.
“Canadian travel advisors are among the most passionate and resilient professionals in our industry, and they deserve an event created specifically for them,” stated James.
“We are excited to welcome advisors and partners together in person to exchange ideas, discover new opportunities and celebrate successes in Vancouver and Toronto for what promises to be an outstanding inaugural event.”
The expanded format is intended to provide members with greater access to training, business development resources and supplier partnerships while strengthening engagement across Canada's travel advisor community.
Registration for ELEVATE Canada is now open.
