Ensemble recognizes top performers with eight-day China trip

Ensemble has concluded its 2026 Beyond Extraordinary Experiences program in China, bringing together the network’s top-performing members, Rising Stars, key partners and senior leadership team for an eight-day trip.

The itinerary included cultural experiences in Beijing, a Yangtze River sailing through the Three Gorges and visits to Shanghai’s dining and nightlife venues.

The annual recognition program gives leading members opportunities to explore destinations, connect with Ensemble leadership and partners and celebrate their business achievements.

“Beyond is about celebrating the people who are helping move Ensemble forward and doing it in a way they will never forget,” said Michael Johnson, president of Ensemble. 

"Our members work incredibly hard to build successful businesses, serve their clients and contribute to this community. We want them to know that their success matters and that when they succeed, we celebrate it. China gave us an extraordinary backdrop to do exactly that.”

Exploring China

The trip began in Beijing, where attendees took part in a VIP experience at the Great Wall of China and a privately hosted cultural experience within Longfu Temple. 

Culinary programming explored the country’s history and traditions while giving members, partners and Ensemble leadership opportunities to connect.

From Beijing, the group travelled to Chongqing before boarding *Century Voyage* for a Yangtze River sailing with Ensemble partner Century Cruises. 

The itinerary through the Three Gorges included onboard events and activities recognizing the network’s top performers.

The trip concluded in Shanghai, where attendees explored the city’s culinary scene, contemporary culture and nightlife.

“Beyond is a powerful expression of what makes Ensemble different,” said Shahla Lalani, SVP of marketing and events.

Ensemble Beyond is ultimately a celebration of their success and of the community we are building together.”

The program was developed in collaboration with Century Cruises and the Shanghai, Beijing and Chongqing tourism boards.

Recognizing member performance

The 2026 trip follows previous Beyond experiences in Paris, which included VIP access to the French Open at Roland Garros, and Tuscany, where the 2025 program culminated with a private performance by Andrea Bocelli during his 20th-anniversary hometown concert.

The destination and itinerary change each year, with the program recognizing members’ business performance and contributions to the network.

“Ensemble Beyond is something our members aspire to be part of because they know we are going to surprise them,” Johnson said. 

“It represents what Ensemble is all about: ambitious people, meaningful relationships, extraordinary access and a community that genuinely celebrates one another’s success. We want our members to leave inspired not only by where they have been, but by where their businesses can take them next.”
