ACTA offers members a new anti-fraud tool

ACTA has introduced a members-only Fraud Incident Report, allowing travel professionals to share information on fraud incidents that they have encountered.
The sharing of this information is in a restricted area (Resources) on the ACTA website and will be updated and controlled by ACTA's Fraud Committee on a regular basis.
Agents with a fraud incident to report can complete the form and forward it to fightfraud@acta.ca.
Earlier this week, PAX took a look at the issue of fraud in the travel industry, including the size of the problem and potential preventative measures.
