Rocky Mountaineer: Luxurious train ride through the heart of the Rockies

Rocky Mountaineer GoldLeaf
It is still possible to fly, but unless you have a window seat and a daytime flight, you may miss the best of Canada. Imagine your client comfortably seated, enjoying the wild west of Canada from a well-positioned two-level train car with panoramic windows from floor to ceiling and gourmet cuisine à la carte, while sipping bubbly at will? Even better than that, imagine them telling you they were able to observe wildlife — a grizzly bear! — while enjoying the panoramic views and mountain air from its private viewing platform? With the rugged silhouette of the Rockies as a spectacular backdrop, the dream comes true with Rocky Mountaineer’s superior GoldLeaf service, available on select routes across western Canada.
Rocky Mountaineer: Unlimited luxury, Canadian hospitality
Each GoldLeaf train car can accommodate 72 customers. These new cars are available on trains travelling on two of Rocky Mountaineer’s routes: a two-day train trip between Vancouver and Lake Louise or Banff; and a two-day train trip between Vancouver and Jasper. Whatever trip you choose, it all starts with a welcome reception organized by the designated host on board. During the entire trip with GoldLeaf service, passengers will be well fed and provided attentive service by four hosts. There will also be a dedicated culinary team to meet all their needs, including refilling wine glasses.
The restaurants on board
On-board menus feature regionally inspired dishes that showcase western Canadian ingredients and flavours, including fresh salmon, Alberta beef and local produce. Executive chefs work very hard in the kitchen, concocting tasty lunches, hot scones and tasty jams, as well as three-course dining options. When it’s time to eat, head to a large private dining room on the lower level of the car, but don’t worry — large windows make sure you don’t miss a minute of the gigantic pines and winding rivers.
The GoldLeaf Service package
The best thing about these luxurious train trips is, without a doubt, that they are all made during the day, so guests don’t miss the scenery when the darkness comes. When it’s time to sleep, the GoldLeaf Service package includes nights in five-star luxury hotels with premium room categories. An upgrade can be requested at any time.
They take care of your luggage
Rocky Mountaineer takes care of luggage, bringing it straight to the hotel and back to the train when the journey continues the next morning.
